We’re looking for a rockstar Marketing & Social Media Assistant who thrives on execution. The Details
- Job Location: Remote, work from home
- Company Location: Australia
- Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Work Hours (PH Time): 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (TBC)
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Creation & Marketing Execution
- Transcribe short-form video content (2–5 minutes) and repurpose into blog posts.
- Create and schedule daily social media posts using video and templates.
- Write and schedule daily social media posts across platforms.
- Upload and optimise content for YouTube (titles, tags, thumbnails).
- Assist with basic SEO research to support blog and video content.
Email Marketing & CRM Tasks
- Set up and send weekly newsletters using ActiveCampaign.
- Help create email sequences for promotions, product launches, and sales campaigns.
- Organise contacts into the right groups based on behaviour or interests (tagging and segmentation).
- Fix basic formatting issues or delivery problems with emails when needed.
Admin & Team Support
- Manage email inboxes and ensure timely replies.
- Assist with updates to workflows, checklists, and internal SOPs.
- Follow task lists and support the implementation of team priorities.
Member & Platform Support
- Step in when needed to help with support tickets or course updates.
- Upload or update course content in the Learning Management System.
- Help monitor member activity and raise any support issues.
- Troubleshoot basic tech problems related to platform access.
Software skills
Ideally (but not mandatory) you have experience with:
ActiveCampaign (or similar CRM system), WordPress, (or something similar), YouTube, Google Docs.
Canva, Buffer (or Later), Meta Business Suite, Google Drive, Slack, Zoom, ClickUp.
Nice to Haves:
Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g. Ubersuggest, Keywords Everywhere)
We want to hear from you if you have…
- A minimum of 4 years working remotely as a digital marketing / social media assistant or VA directly for US, Australian, or European clients. No BPOs.
- Strong English writing skills for creating engaging blog content, captions, and clear email communication.
- Experience with ActiveCampaign (or similar CRM system), and WordPress (or something similar)
- Experience with social media management, (including social media tools), content creation, and scheduling across social platforms.
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset to manage tasks and follow-ups.
- Confidence using digital tools and solving super basic tech issues.
